VDEI welcomes Poland as Guest of Honour Country at iaf 2022

The Association of German Railway Engineers (VDEI) is pleased to announce Poland as the Guest of Honour Country of next year's 28th International Exhibition of Railway Technology (iaf). In doing so, the association acknowledges the positive development of the Polish railway infrastructure in recent years and the further modernisation steps planned for the coming years.

In coordination with the Polish Engineering Association Stowarzyszenie Inżynierów i Techników Komunikacji Rzeczpospolitej Polskiej (SITK), the Polish railway construction industry will be offered a stage at the world's leading trade fair for track technology from 31 May to 2 June 2022 in Münster to present itself and its services to an international audience and to establish new contacts. By doing so, the iaf is making a contribution to further improving international cooperation and professional exchange in the field of track technology.

The organiser of the international exhibition is the Association of German Railway Engineers (VDEI). Association President Thomas Mainka is pleased about the guest country: "With Poland, we will be able to welcome a very innovative guest country in Münster. Especially in recent years, the Polish railway infrastructure has already been modernised to a great extent and this development is not over yet. It is also closely linked to many excellent Polish companies, which we would like to invite to participate in the iaf!"

The iaf is the world's leading trade fair for track technology and has enjoyed an excellent reputation among rail industry professionals and exhibitors for decades. The organiser expects the world premiere of new and innovative products and services to continue in 2022.

It is possible to register as an exhibitor via the fair website www.iaf-messe.com. The current plans of the fairgrounds that can be viewed there offer interested companies the opportunity to select a suitable stand location for their trade fair appearance. "Stand spaces are still available in all areas, both in the halls and on the outdoor area and track. Anyone who wants to secure a special placement should contact us quickly!" says Siegfried Krause, Managing Director of VDEI Service GmbH, which is responsible for organising the fair.
