The Covid concept of the iaf

In all likelihood, the Corona pandemic will still be with us in 2022 and thus at the iaf 2022. Due to legal requirements, the fair organiser is obliged to adhere to a strict security concept.

At present, it is permitted in Germany to hold large events without access restrictions if access is regulated according to the 3-G rules (Vaccinated, Convalescent, Tested) and is also strictly controlled. This regulation will of course also apply to the iaf 2022, from the beginning of the construction phase until the end of the dismantling phase.

This affects all employees and helpers of stand construction companies and logistics companies, lorry drivers and all other persons who will be on the fair grounds.

The assembly, exhibition and visitor passes will be personalised and it will be possible to store the corresponding certificates (vaccination, convalescence, tested) online and thus link them to the respective pass. This will speed up or reduce the ongoing checks when entering the exhibition grounds.

During the entire duration of the fair, i.e. from the beginning of set-up to the end of dismantling, a test centre will be set up in Exhibition Hall North where persons who do not have a current certificate can be tested and, with a negative result, be granted access to the fair grounds.

As the organiser, we must strictly comply with the applicable legal requirements and will gladly do so for the protection of all persons involved in a successful trade fair. Should the legal framework conditions change, we will take this into account and inform you accordingly.
