Retrospective

 

Over the course of the years the iaf has developed into the leading fair among the fairs for railway technology.

The iaf has been held in Münster since 2003. Directly adjoining the exhibition halls of "Halle Münsterland" the tracks of Münster East's freight yard of the Westphalian provincial railway (WLE) are available to exhibit machines. In 2003 thousands of visitors came to the huge fairground on the three exhibition days to see and inspect the latest developments in the rail technology sector presented by over 150 international exhibitors. Almost all leading international manufacturers such as Plasser & Theurer, Matisa, Speno, Cemafer, Robel, etc. will present the latest relaying trains, tamping machines for plain line track and turnouts, rail grinding trains, ballast cleaning machines and inspection vehicles.

In 2006 and 2009 the iaf was also able to repeat the positive results of the previous years. In 2009 there were 177 exhibitors and some 25,000 visitors.

Why don't you take part in 2013 (again) as an exhibitor and/ or visitor. Until then you can be inspired by the impressions from the year 2009. You can find information on the previous exhibitors who, for the most part, have already confirmed their participation for 2013.
