iaf Congress on Rail Infrastructure Works

Now attracting over 170 exhibitors from 15 different countries, iaf – the International Exhibition of Permanent-Way Technology – has long since established itself as the leading international trade show in the field of railtrack technology. For the reasons cited above trade fair will henceforward beheld only at four-yearly intervals, with the next International Exhibition of Permanent-Way Technology – the 26th iaf – taking place in Münster from 28th to 30th Mai 2013. Preparations for the event are already full in swing.
However, so that international railway professionals don’t have to wait too long for the next gathering of experts in the field, the Association of German Railway Engineers (VDEI) is organising the fi rst-ever “iaf-Congress BahnBau”, which will be held from 17th to 19th May 2011, also in Münster. This will also be a four-yearly event, which means that the railway industry will be provided with an iaf-branded forum for the exchange of ideas and experience at least every two years. At the same time, the event will be a further attractive, highquality addition to international railway industry events.

A core theme of the new iaf Congress BahnBau will be major practical issues relating to the ongoing development of existing railway infrastructures …
